I want to pay for you to try this out, and if you do this, as a result you will make more money in the long run. This is 100% full proof. I have never ever seen someone fail who does this. Now first let me warn you that 99% of the people will say this will not work and just ignore it and tell you not to do this. What I’m going to share with you worked in the Roman Empire 2000 years ago and it works now. The great news is that most people will not do this, which is great for you, because YOU WILL STAND OUT! Ok, let me explain this technique and how you are going to make way more money once you decide to be the 1% who will implement this.

First let me tell you what one of my many mentors thought me. He said to go trough life with open eyes and observe what people do and notice patterns. Here is something that I observed. I get thanked for various things by thousands of people over the years. I noticed that all the people who are financially broke usually walk up to me to thank me in person or even worse send me an email to thank me. I noticed that the successful people THANK ME IN WRITING and mail it (some of the first group write it on a piece of paper and hand it to save on postage). Now I know some nitpicker is going to disagree and find an exception, but in general I noticed this pattern to be true. This is especially true in the age of email when it easy to send an email thanking someone: DON’T DO IT! Trust me on this one! Even if you thank via email try to follow up in writing (formally). I know 99% will not do it, but try to be the 1% who does. Let them save money on the postage, you can stand out by paying, it’s well worth it!

For example yesterday I deposited a check in the bank from a deal that was a nightmare and a Realtor actually saved the deal. Guess what, I sent the realtor a thank you in writing with a gift included. Why would I do that and how will that make me money? Ok, I’ll get to that part…

I recently met with an investor who was creating his first ever seminar to teach his system to other investors and I helped out, he sent me a thank you card with cookies attached to the card. How will that make him more money? Ok, I’ll get to that part…

Are you seeing a pattern here?

The reason this works is that there is built in reciprocity in all humans. I think we all want to be acknowledged when we do something for another person but it doesn’t happen often. Especially when someone takes the time to do it formally in writing that is huge. And people who get it, appreciate it a great deal and it solidifies the relationship with that person. You are seen different when you do this simple, easy and in-expensive gesture. But most people chose not to do this! Even people who know the power of it will not do it, those people choose to do the easy cheap thing (email) and miss the entire point! And when I teach them not to do it via email at by bootcamp they get upset at me. People love cheap and free things, but cheap and free things don’t work. However when you tell them, they attack you. Ask me how I know. So don’t do the free and cheap. Try what has worked for 2000+ years, and it’s not free.

That fact that most people will never do this is great for you. So when you do it, it will stand out. So why don’t most people do this? Well they think it’s complicated and it takes time. That is not true. I’m very busy and travel and run multiple businesses and manage employees, websites, tools, payments, vendors etc… However I use the formal writing almost daily. On average i spend 3 minutes per day. I have done it from vacation in Hawaii, from cruise ships. You can even do it now from an airplane since most have internet access. Yes, this is formal writing but sent via the internet. I’ll teach you how it works. Again the great thing for you is that most people will not do this.

If I have to do a big chunk at once to multiple people, then I can outsource it to my team member who will do it for me. But that is rare I do 90% of it in person myself and I try to do it each and every day! This is a disturbing email I got today:

I was born in Communist Serbia and I remember thousands of times I was told watch what you say, don’t talk bad about your country or your government. Well my father said a few things once in a public place and they reported him and guess what, the Serbian version of Gestapo showed up and arrested him.

I got this very disturbing email from someone who thinks all people should get in line or get out. Obviously this is a person who doesn’t like American principles of the founding fathers and like more of the old Serbian principles of if you don’t like get out. I’m sure as there are more people like this it will be the next step  like “or else….”.

If this person knew American history they would know that the founding fathers knew popular speech didn’t need protecting, it’s the un-popular that did. I’m probably more American then this person who is trying to force everyone to shut up while the country keeps spending taxpayers money like a drunken sailor as I wrote in my last blog post. All that was is a comment on what I think is wrong with this country, that doesn’t mean the country is bad, it’s just that it spends money and there is a chance when I retire Uncle Sam might not be able to take care of me (which I don’t expect). I’m just commenting on the situation! If we are a republic as the founding fathers wanted, can’t we comment on what the republic is doing wrong?

Am I wrong to comment on it??? I think the USA has more debt the the entire planet combined (I don’t’ have any proof). If we are a free people we can comment on this disturbing trend?

I spoke at a seminar once and this guy rose up and said that “people like me who don’t pay taxes” are the reason he can’t move forward in life.

Well I pay taxes from day 1 and each and every year since I came to this country, not that I like the taxes since Uncle Sam spends it like crazy, but I pay them. But the day I can’t talk about the government will be  a sad day for America.

Even Serbia is a free capitalist country again where Serbs criticize Serbia for spending money each and every day. I’m proud of the Serbian people for fighting and getting this right.

I’ll speak my mind here in America while I pay taxes (and even if I was deported I would say what I want). When I was born my Godparents gave me the name “The one who is free”. And the one who is free likes to speak his mind even when it’s not popular!

It’s 2:24 AM and I just left Walmart. I couldn’t sleep and I wanted to consolidate my 8 external hard drive most of them have videos from my old seminars and me speaking around the country. Most of my external drives are 300GB so they are all full and I wanted a 1TB (1000 GB) drive to consolidate a few of them.

At 2AM where do you go? Well Wallmart is open. So I go there, and there was a 1TB drive but it’s locked. At the electronic section at the register there’s an 80 year old employee and I politely asked if I can buy the external hard drive.

I felt sorry as he had to go trough the huge chain of 100’s of keys. He must have tried 20 to get it opened finally. As instructed by Wallmart I was not allowed to take the drive to the front desk because I guess Wallmart customers steal the drives. So I give him my credit card (it was only $130) and tried to pay.

Now the machine locks up with my signature on the keypad. I felt even more sorry for him because common sense says to me that he can’t fix it. 20 minutes later a manage gets here and fixes the problem.

What’s the lesson here? Why do people at 80 work at 2AM at Walmart. You might say he liked it. Well he doesn’t. Remember the 20 minute wait? I got to talk to him, he exposed a bunch of frustrations to me while we waited, from having to work there, to the way Walmart forces them to do things in stupid ways and so on… I’ll keep his identity secret in case by some remote chance Walmart reads this. I have a picture of him frustrated fixing the keypad on the register, maybe I”ll show it at the next seminar.

However weird this story is, it’s the future for many Americans. More then 60% (you can Google it) of Americans are going to retire not broke, but in debt with no pension. I’m not making this up. They are going to depend on financially savvy Uncle Sam to provide Social Security checks for them when they are 80 like this Wallmart employee.

And we know Uncle Sam don’t we? He is very financially savvy and he doesn’t spend money like a drunken sailor, no! Uncle Sam saves the money, and invests it wisely so his citizens will not have large debt and Uncle Sam can take care of them when they retire. Uncle Sam is a good man. He is very very frugal with the money his taxpayers give him, and thinks twice before he spends it.

OK, ok! Satire on side, we know our dear Uncle Sam is worse then a drunken sailor without the fun. At least Sailors have fun when they spend their money.  So we, the smart people know we can’t depend on dear old Uncle Sam to take care of us when we are 80. We don’t want to end up old frustrated Wallmart employees fixing cash registers and fumbling trough key-chains!

So what are we to do? We need to “bite the bullet” and master money making skills and not in just one niche but a few. We need to have multiple streams of passive income! Yes, it’s hard, that is why 99% of those who try fail. But look at the alternative. Do you want Uncle Sam to take care of you or work at Walmart? It’s better to learn now then pay later. But pay we will! I choose to pay now! And I have paid, it took me 5 years to learn everything (yes I’m know I’m not as sharp as others) but for the rest of my life I’m going to be financially free, and I will not have to work at Walmart!

Well, I was honored when Ken emailed me a week later and invited to his System Seminar in Chicago. It was incredible, but here is why I think you will benefit more from the HypeFree bootcamp then from the System Seminar. (you should go to both if you can).

At the System Seminar Ken had 2 or 3 presentations going parallel at the same time. Also every speaker had 90 minutes and that was it, and there was one panel. This is very hard to get success and at some of the presentation you can’t interact and talk back and fourth with the speaker. I have seen people try to study 5 systems at once then they are upset because they are frustrated and confused and can’t make any money. Well you have to be smart as Nicola Tesla to study 5 different systems at once. And I don’t think Test who invented Radio, Neon Light Bulbs (because Edison wouldn’t let him use his), Electricity, Remote Control and a bunch more could, study 5 systems at once. What makes them think they can? Do they think they are smarter then Tesla?

So leave everything behind and come open minded and ready to implement one at the most 2 systems! I would stick to one, and that is the one we teach you, after you implement our and only then, move to the next system. But for God sake, don’t do 2 or more at once that is a recipe for disaster (unless you are as smart as Tesla).

If a person who immigrated and dug ditches, can’t spell, has no background in anything and people laugh at and make fun of, can get this implemented, why can’t the 99% of the masses? Why do the 99% of the masses keep going to the same old HYPE and BS “dog and pony seminars” where they learn nothing and expect to get results and join the ranks of the 1% who are successful? Why is that? Why don’t they just be smart and come to the the HypeFree bootcamp and learn the right way?

You have to master copy even if you outsource it! Because most copywriters with the best reputation suck at it and can’t produce results. If you don’t believe me go hire a few and see if you get a return on your investment. So I will have a segment and teach you copywriting so you can use it for the rest of your life the way I do. It’s critical to your success!

I often get asked by students how should I build a squeeze page and what are the important elements that I should worry about. So I want to share some of my thoughts about squeeze pages here.

Lets start with the basics, what is a squeeze page, and when should you use it. A squeeze page is like a gate to the website, where the visitor can’t move forward untill they volenteer their information, hence they are “squeezed”. So the name squeeze page. Some squeeze pages just collect email addresses other get name and email and some get a phone and in rare cases I have collected a full mailing address.

Should you use squeeze pages, and if so, when? Lets start with that fact that squeeze pages are not always apropriate. If you have visitors that come often to your site, like a forum or a blog or a corprate branding site, then a squeeze page would be anoying and would do more hard then good. So when is it apropriate? Well, if you have a lead generation site, that you are going to get one shot at capturing a prospects information so you can follow up like with Pay-per click for example, then you should use a squeeze page.

You will loose 50% or more of the visitors, but at least you will capture some of the information and now you can follow up. If you didn’t use a squeeze page, 100% of the visitors would see the site but you could follow up with 0 of them, and the money is in the follow up.

One metric that is important for squeeze pages, is your conversion rate. That is the number of people who gave their information (opted in) divided by the total number of visitors. This is a very important number to know, make sure your webmaster provides you with this information.

So what can you do to increase that number?

BETTER BRIBE. Website visitors expect something in return for their name and email. The more valuable the bribe the higher the conversion rate. Now when I say valuable, I mean valuable to them, not valuable to you!

BETTER HEADLINE. You can split test your headlines. Always think about what’s in it for the visitor and keep testing, testing and testing some more until you get a winning headline that converts!

BETTER VIDEO. If you have a video, make sure it sells only one thing, and that is the optin not your service or product. I see that mistake often. Try to get to the point quickly with the benefit to the visitor and why they should optin.

LESS DISTRACTING GRAPHICS. I notice that people love to pack on the fancy graphics but often those squeeze pages don’t convert as good. If you want for your friends to say what a great squeeze page, then that is ok, but make sure it doesn’t distract from the conversion, after all that is the job of the squeeze page.

CALL TO ACTION. Above the box for the name/email you can put a call to action spelling out what you need the visitor to do.

This should get you started. Just keep testing until you get a decent conversion rate. What can we learn from the 2010 Fifa world cup in Soccer from the Serbian and German teams?

Yesterday I was so upset watching the Serbian national soccer team play in South Africa at the 2010 Fifa World Cup. Since I have been a full time entrepreneur, finding lessens from experiences has been something of value for me. So what can we learn from the world cup and some of it’s teams?

Well lets start with Serbia, the country I was born in and where I use to play soccer for my village in Central Serbia. In the qualifications for the last world cup, Serbia won all the games and received only 1 goal. That was amazing. I think Serbia was ranked like #8 in the world before the world cup started. Then they arrived for the 2006 world cup in Germany and lost all of the games (every single one!). Out of 32 teams Serbia finished DEAD LAST!

The spoiled Serbian multi-millionaires from the rich and fancy European soccer clubs who are super stars on TV and have their own billion dollar brands and following walked out on the field worse then Opera Primadonna. There was one guy I think his name is Mihajlovic, who wouldn’t run after the ball unless it was thrown to him on a silver platter. If there ever was entitlement mentality, the Serbian national team had it! And they went “bankrupt”. Doesn’t that remind us of real life?

Fast forward 4 years. Again, Serbia won most of the games, finished #1 in it’s European group (ahead of World Champs France). Again the spoiled Serbs lost in the opening against Ghana. Here is another parallel to real life. In the interview after the match, they started blaming others like the referee for example or luck etc… IT WASN’T THEIR FAULT, they said after the match! Loser’s blame others, winners take responsibility! You can fail at the game and be a winner. It’s not failure if you take responsibility and learn from it, implement and improve. All winners in business where losers at a few trials (or even businesses), but learned from it and took responsibility and then and only then, became winners!

Now lets take a look at the German national soccer team. They don’t have as much talent like the Serbs have. But they go out there and even when they are loosing run like mad men after the ball even when the pass sucks, they run after it and often get it. They run not till the 90th minute, they run till after that! THE GERMANS NEVER EVER GIVE UP! And often they win. Yesterday they won by the largest margin then any team so far in the world cup! I remember Serbia leading against Spain 3:0 or something like that and stopped running and loosing the game! You have to focus and work hard ALL THE TIME! The Germans teach us that better then anyone!

And when the Germans loose a game, they get up and win the next one. When the Germans are down, and I have been watching Germany play for 30 years now, they have been down time and time again, but come back and win often, because they get up and get going!

So what is the lesson here? MENTAL MINDSET IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN TALENT! That is good news for those who think they are not skilled or talented enough as an entrepreneur. Most people who are talented never make money online, because they behave like the Serbian national team which doesn’t want to focus and work for it. You have to be like the Germans, focused and run after the ball and work at it all the time! Keep the eye on the prize and you will make it!

NOTE TO THE FUTURE SERBIAN COACH: Hire Tony Robbins (or another motivational expert) and send the Serbian players to a seminar to get their mindset re-programmed and maybe Serbia can finally be a world champ once for a change. Your team sucks because their mental mindset is messed up! Get someone to fix it, and make it a condition for playing for the Serbian team! And when you loose – STOP BLAMING OTHERS – IT’S YOUR FAULT! There is no shame in failing, there is only shame at not giving 100% before you fail and learning from it! Grow up and take some responsibility!

Dan Stojadinovic here. I often get asked what kind of skill can I develop that will make me more successful. In this blog post I’ll share some of them.

These are not scientific or by any “guru”, they are just my observation in my journey as a full time entrepreneur the last 6 or so years. Please feel free to comment below i if you have any ideas how to improve or new ideas about skills that you would like to add. There is a comment section at the bottom of the blog post. So first some individual internal skills:

1. TAKING RESPONSIBILITY. I remember when I lived in Serbia, and when I worked “crappy” jobs here in America, I use to say, why me, it’s not fair etc… At some point realizing that it’s my fault and I had to take responsibility for my situation, that things finally started to change for the better. So I think taking responsibility is a very important principle you should have. I know it’s hard, but try not to blame others, and see how you can take responsibility for the situation next time.

2. CONSIDERATION OF OTHERS. I think most people are in-considerate. I know people get upset when I say this at seminars, but I believe it’s true. Now to clarify what I mean, considerate doesn’t mean nice or rude etc..  A person who goes to church, and is kind, and gives to charity etc.. can be IN-CONSIDERATE. Also an evil person can be considerate. So what is considerate? Considerate in my definition is someone who projects themselves into someone else and thinks in advance about the actions and how they affect the other person. So when they talk or do something they think how will that affect the other person. Very few people have this skill or are even aware of it. If you can develop this skill to analyze everything from the perspective of the other person, you will have a better chance to become more successful.

Consideration will lead in writing better copy, closing more deals etc…

3. COMMON SENSE. One thing that amazes me is how few people have common sense and need everything explained to them. They can’t just think through, but need like a step-by-step press. For example press this button, fill in this line, say these words to your employee etc… and are not able to think what is a logical next step or does this make sense etc… Now the people who don’t have common sense probably think they have it, so I’m not sure how to fix this, but I know it’s important. Maybe ask yourself if you have it or not and try to be honest with your self.

4. SELF HONESTY. I feel like most people don’t want to face the reality and lie to themselves of the real situation. I notice how the way a person describes what is going on is a total disconnect from reality. I think in order to grow, you must admit even bad things to yourself, so you can change them. You must be 100% transparent to yourself and not sugarcoat anything.

5. BAILOUT. I remember how Serbia produced the most ugly and horrible car on the planet after East Germany (they did it for the same reason). The reason Serbia had this ugly car, was that they didn’t have to make a good one, the company lost billions year after year and every year for decades where bailed out. When someone has a bailout available, they are robbed of the God given resourcefulness. I have been privileged to meet over 200 successful “guru-s” and listen to their speeches. One thing I noticed is that most where pushed in a corner at some point of time, and that was the pivotal moment. And in each case there was no bailout, they had to dig deep and find resourcefulness within to pull out. But they had no bailout, some where literally on the street or close to it. No one would lend or give them money and they where forced to figure it out. I guess the lesson is to try to do things with your resources when possible and pretend like there is no bailout (even if there is)! Maybe it’s impossible, since it takes a huge will-power, but I think it’s important to try that.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE TOP PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO DEVELOP as an entrepreneur that I think will make you successful in any business (or more successful if you already are):

1. COPYWRITING. Even if you don’t want to ever write copy like I do, understanding it will make you more successful. If you have been on my list, you probably know that I have no skill in writing according to 99% of people who comment on it, somehow I’m able to make a profit. Why is that? Well I think the reason copywriting is important and it’s not about the ability to write property grammar or spell correctly, it’s about the ability to communicate with your prospect and make a connection. PSYCHOLOGY is the key to copywriting. Now I don’t have a background in psychology, but I like to observe people and what drives them. Also one blessing I had, was the life experience to see people in different systems from Communism, Socialism to Capitalism and how people behave in each, and derive what motivates them and drives them to action or in-action in each.

I have been paid to write copy a few times and have been able to produce results, but I’m far from the best copywriter. Every entrepreneur should understand copywriting because it’s an integral par to any:

- video
- landing page
- auto-responer
- voice blast
- radio ad
- postcard
- sales letter
etc….

it’s all about copywriting! You have to connect with the audience. Even when you talk one on one at a seminar or networking meeting or on a sales call. I think that 99% of entrepreneurs just don’t’ care about copywriting and we know the horrible failure rate entrepreneurs have (something like 90% fail). I think this is one of the reasons, so if you can improve this skill, go for it. Spend at least 1 hour a week improving your copywriting skills (even if you will not do it, so you understand it). I will have a bootcamp on copy-wring alone one day, THAT IS HOW IMPORTANT I THINK IT IS!

2. TRAFFIC. I think you have to have the ability to drive prospects to your business (I don’t mean only websites). Real Estate Investor and Citrus REIA and Tampa Bay REIA group leader John Ybara a few weekends ago was able to drive 1000 people to his open house. How many realtors in America can drive 1000 people to their open house? Just so you know this is not made up, I was there, and couldn’t believe it if I haven’t seen it with my own 2 eyes!

Now that can be traffic online or offline it doesn’t matter, but you have to be able to drive traffic of prospects to your funnel. In John’s case the funnel started with an open house and registering the prospects on his list. This is a very important skill, but most entrepreneurs can’t do it, and are not willing to learn it or are to cheap to pay for someone to do it for them. But without this skill you can’t be that successful in business. However I can tell you that even in John’s case, skill #1 (copywriting) played a pivotal role to his success (he wrote some incredible copy!). However that is just a part. So these two skills are very important!

3. VIDEO. This is a future skill. I don’t think if you can’t do it, it will break you today, but I think we are heading there. I think we will need a skill to make effective videos. Here is why. I think that everyone on their phone, computer or TV will be able to push a few buttons and pull up a video about you or your business and in a few seconds or minutes and decide GO/NO GO. So that skill is going to be critical. Now if you have that skill now, you are ahead. There are millionaires being made as we speak because they have mastered video effectively. It’s not an easy skill and there is much involved, but it’s worth mastering.
